Hi Paul,
I have watched all the videos and I am going to start to plaster tomorrow on one of the smaller walls.
The question I have is where is the start point for a wall with a door frame already installed. Do you start at the door and use the frame as your level? and if the frame is more that the usual 2mm 1st coat + 1mm finish, do you just go thicker with the plaster on the first coat ?

Hi Darren,
Yes you've got it! If it's really thick then pack out prior to starting skimming so that the 1st coat is not too thick as it can be really tricky otherwise.
