Plastering over metal lintel and metal restraints any advice

Can you please give me advice on plastering over metal restraints and lintels and also electric plastic capping which is not chased in to wall thanks paul very much appreciate your help

Metal Restraint Straps: Make sure the straps are well fixed - taking care to ensure nails/screw heads are not protruding otherwise you will have to put a greater thickness of plaster on.

Metal Lintels: Generally galvanised lintels are fine - the holes ensure adhesion but if concerned just apply neat pva with a bit of sand mixed in.

The plastic capping needs to be well fixed back to eliminate excessive movement. If there are two or three next to each other then applying the PVA mix will ensure there are no problems.
