every time i am skimming a wall i allway get the wet trowell wrong when is it best to apply the wet trowell in skimming cheers

If you're using multi-finish you don't always need water unless it's drying quickly on a high suction wall. Just try trowelling it first without water and use extra pressure. If it is not responding as you would like then try water but don't overdo it.

hi when i am skimming a wall with my trowell wat part of the trowell do i put pressure on when skimming up and down woods cheers

the back edge of your trowel - the front (leading edge) will be about 10 - 15mm away from the wall.
