About skimming
Skimming is the final top coat or finish coat of plaster that is applied either to a backing coat, plasterboard or old and damaged existing plastered walls to provide a nice smooth finish ready for painting.
Practical The courses are 100% practical. Tuition is given through a series of demonstrations and then instruction whilst you are plastering a wall. You will be plastering yourself for the majority of the time, so if your arm aches the use of tea & coffee breaks can be utilised!
1:1 Instruction / Tuition
The Course is professional yet informal and due to being 1:1 means we can go at a pace that suits you and allows you to ask as many questions as you like.

'Many thanks for your fantastic tuition on the skimming course.
You helped me correct so many mistakes and bad habits, taught me not to panic when tears and holes appeared, and gave me the confidence needed to tackle plastering projects at home again after some shaky early attempts!
The pace of the course, your patience and teaching style were superb.
The best £75 I have ever spent!"
